新北市新店錦繡指南客運公車總站裡日前出現一窩流浪貓，其中一隻黑臉貓「周倉」脖子被鐵絲纏住受傷，好心人送至收容所安置。周倉個性兇悍見人就哈氣，經常被排除在認養名單，直到一名女飼主出面領養，要給貓咪一個屬於自己的家，這個決定改變了周倉的一生，讓牠從兇悍貓變成溫柔小貓咪，躺著跟馬麻愛的擊掌。

新北市動保處在2月12日受理民眾通報，新店錦繡指南客運公車總站裡，有4隻流浪貓在公車停車場草叢，民眾自己留下3隻貓飼養，脖子被鐵絲纏繞的周倉則由動物之家安置救援。周倉剛到所內時個性十分兇悍，還抓傷照顧牠的動保員，由駐區獸醫幫牠清創傷口手術，進行絕育、施打狂犬病及貓三合一疫苗。
周倉雖然有些難以親近，但動保員鄧力仁每日照顧牠時，發現貓咪其實很溫和，是因為長期流浪的關係不得不保護自己。動保員餵食和清理貓沙盆時，周倉會溫和地在旁邊看著，就像關聖帝君旁的左右護法周倉，黑臉給人一種較為兇惡的感覺，動保員便決定把貓咪命名為周倉，期待牠找到自己的主人。

正當動保員們都不看好周倉可以送養出去，近日毛小姐到新店動物之家參觀，周倉第一時間還對著人哈氣威嚇，但毛小姐覺得周倉毛色體態十分投緣，儘管貓咪對人不親合，依然選擇將周倉認養回家。經過動保處後續追蹤，發現周倉到了新家展露出截然不同的個性，可與人觸摸和擁抱，也會在門口等毛小姐下班回家，非常忠心，還會伸手跟飼主擊掌，模樣十分可愛。

新北市動保處表示，新北市有8個動物之家分佈在郊區、海邊及山上，歡迎想要認養的民眾可先上網至動保處認養網頁查詢，如有喜歡的犬貓，再至動物之家陪伴撫摸，再來決定認養，也呼籲民眾要有動物保護觀念，共同推廣流浪動物絕育、認養不棄養觀念。
